On February the sixteenth, our classmates from the high school Manuel de Guzmán and us, went to Madrid! More specifically, to Pozuelo de Alarcón to watch and enjoy the theatre play: “The Canterville Ghost”.
As we arrived earlier than the play started, we had some free time in order to visit the village or just hang out with friends. We appreciated that we could all hang out together and have fun!
The play was based on a spirit that was betrayed a long time ago and he couldn't rest in peace, but finally, a girl helped him to achieve his goal.
After the play, we went to the Retiro park to have lunch and spent the afternoon there, but some others preferred to go to Gran Vía and walk around for a while. At 5 o’clock, we met each other at the bus stop, which was situated in front of one of the park entrances. Finally, we went home after spending a good day in Madrid having fun with our friends.
In our opinion, it was a great experience because we could improve our listening level of English and we could get to know better our teachers and mates, also we could enjoy the beautiful sights of Madrid, and for these reasons, in a near future, we would like to repeat that school trip!!
